Shepherd Search Group names Laura Burgess as Senior Director of Sales and Training
Shepherd Search Group®, MoneyTech Search’s parent company, is proud to announce that Laura Burgess has joined the firm as Senior Director of Sales and Training. With over two decades of leadership and talent development, Laura will work alongside Shepherd Search Group’s CEO, David Gantshar, on short and long-term strategies to expand their reach and presence in the industry. In addition, Laura has been appointed to the firm’s Executive Committee where she will lead organic growth as well as helping to execute upon Shepherd’s acquisition strategy as the firm continues to purchase and turn around underperforming search firms.
Before joining Shepherd Search Group, Laura served as the Director of Area Operations Training for a global BPO organization, assigned exclusively to the AT&T account. Prior to that, she was the Director of Training for MRINetwork where she partnered with search firms worldwide to develop professional recruiters. Her passion for changing lives, as well as having a positive impact on those she partners with, began early in her career when she ran her own desk as a top performing executive recruiter.
Based at Shepherd Search Group’s corporate office in Port Saint Lucie, FL, Laura leads a group of already accomplished recruiters, and will continue to grow the team across three continents. Over recent years Shepherd Search Group has made a number of acquisitions, thus adding scope and broadening their recruitment talent pool. This was reflected by ranking #701 in Inc.’s Top 5000, and one of only a handful of search firms featured, with a three-year sales growth of 646%.
